The Bright Path

Our game called "The Bright Path" is an educational computer game ,around 30 minutes long which provides interactive and immersive experience to learn more about the topics of drug abuse, drug addiction, dangerous societal phenomena and active citizenship in an interactive, entertaining and immersive way. We recommend to follow-up with a reflection activity to discuss the choices you made during the game with your students or in your mind with yourself. You play as a young man called Rasmus, who is a  volunteer in a fictional city called „Sobercity“, which is plagued by the demons of drug abuse, drug addiction and other dangerous societal phenomena. Your goal is to roam through the city and discover local citizens, who are facing various challenges and to help them or not, but remember every choice you make counts towards shaping the fate of the city !

Installation instructions:

Donwload the .zip file and extract it anywhere on your hard drive, then launch sob.exe and you are ready to play ! 

The game can only run on Windows 10 64 bit versions or newer operating systems (the game does not support other operating systems), the game has the following hardware requirements:

CPU: modern 4 core x64 (Ryzen 1xxx or equivalent ) or better

RAM: 8GB or higher

GPU: DirectX11 support or higher, 4GB VRAM or higher (dedicated GPU is highly recommended)

HDD: 15GB of free space, SSD recommended

You can, of course, run the game on weaker hardware but you will run in the performance issues. In that case you can lower the game resolution to improve the performance of the game.
